lemon, hot water acts as a diuretic, is this harmful during pregnancy?
I have 21 weeks I pregnant and have been super sick with a cold. I've been drinking lots of hot lemon water. They said only that it acts as a diuretic. Is this harmful to the baby? Also drink lots of water only during the day. I have a check up today, so my doctor but also wondering what others have learned about it.
Even if it is a mild diuretic, I doubt that would be strong enough to be a problem. You are also consuming a large amount of water, respectively, so that any liquid that is poured out are being replaced. I imagine that it would be different from consuming orange or grapefruit juice unless you are drinking much less of it. Vitamin C is good for you.
