Sundance Spa Model 605 (1989/90) heater shuts off.?
Just installed the spa for a friend. It was given by his father and he said that the only problem is that it was not heating properly. After wiring it, I discovered that this is correct. He warms to about 80 degrees and then turns off as it was heating. I think either the control panel on the top or the temperature sensor water is broken. He does not know what is not hot yet. I already checked the resistance of the element heating – it is beautiful. But the temperature control and everything is solid. I just hate to start replacing parts. Any who?
so most of the time, you can call the manufacture and they usually have a line of technology that can guide you through some tests. if they do not do these spas more you want to check some of your places of local pool to see if they service spas. if this work does not work I know it's a long shot, but I work on pools and spas, but I am located in Lafayette, LA, but somehow there is usually a high limit and thermostat sensor depending on the type of spa has its probably best to change both at the same time and go from there. theres a lot of stuff that I can give to help prevent this, but I would have to type a novel. other questions give me a buzz
