What color highlights is best for natural black hair?
I am really tired of my black shoulder length hair. I think it looks soo dull. I have jet black hair that I think is a level 1 – 2. What color highlights should I get. It needs to be natural (yes, i’m the type of person who would go for blue highlights because of school rules ) I don’t want red highlights. My whole family has them and I hate it. I have medium darkish skin tone.
I would try carmel or a light to medium brown shades. If you go to the right place they can put the highlight swatches up to your hair and you can get an example of what it might look like. The best way to look natural is to get them to look one to two shades lighter than your current color. They will also make your hair color pop and if you get them around your face add some definition.
