problems with above ground pool?
Which is better .... sand filter or filter cartridge? I have a bloom of algae in my 24 'above ground pool that I have not been able to "cure." pool shop owner is helping, but so far has not worked .... shock super, algicide, etc. We believe that it is perhaps time to try a new filter .... any ideas? This has been happening for the last month. Can not see the bottom of the pool ... green as pea soup. Really frustrating. Have you ever been through this before.
If you have a sand filter, sand is only good for about three years. After it starts to lose its effectiveness and the needs of the sand and poured replaced.
